PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with the Revised Ordinances of Honolulu Section 15-17.1, notice is hereby given for the proposed removal of marked crosswalks on Ainamakua Drive at Laua’e Street. The proposed crosswalk removals will be included in the Rehabilitation of Localized Streets, Phase 24B project which is currently in construction. Work on the portion of Ainamakua Drive at Laua’e Street started in the week of May 4, 2026. Input or comments relating to the removal of these crosswalks may be submitted to the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Design and Construction, Civil Division, 650 South King Street, 15th floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, or by leaving a message at 808-768-8801, through June 26, 2026.
