NOTICE TO MOTORIST
The Hawaii Department of Transportation, Highways Division and Paul’s Electrical
Contracting would like to notify the public that work on the following project will be done on the
dates and times indicated below,
MOANALUA FREEWAY HIGHWAY LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. NH-H201(005) R
KIKOWAENA STREET TO OLA LANE OVERPASS
START WORK DATE : February 25, 2019
DURATION : MONDAY TO FRIDAY Daytime Excluding Holidays
SUNDAY Night TO FRIDAY Morning Nightime Excluding Holidays
TIME : 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM Daytime
9:00 PM to 4:00 AM Nightime
WORK END DATE : February 20, 2020
During construction operations, the outer lanes adjacent to the highway shoulders may be closed
to traffic in some locations to allow the Contractor to perform their work. Construction equipment
and vehicles may be temporarily parked along the highway shoulders while workers will be working
onsite. This may cause a slowdown in traffic flow within the construction area.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution and observe all posted warning signs, barriers and
traffic control devices. Honolulu Police Officers will be posted according to approved traffic control
plans to assist the Contractor in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic during construction operations.
