NOTICE TO MOTORISTS
Project Description: The project consists of an
emergency rehabilitation of the existing force
mains in the Ko’olina area. 12 inch HDPE pipe
will slip into 16 inch reinforced concrete cylinder
pipe from wastewater pump station NO.1 to the
existing discharge manhole. And 16 inch HDPE
will slip into 20 inch reinforced concrete cylinder
pipe from wastewater pump station NO. 2 to the
existing discharge Manhole.
Affected Streets: The streets that will be affected
include Ali’inui Drive, Olani Street, Kamoana
Place, Kekai Place, and Waipahe Place.
• NTP Date: December 27st, 2017
Approximate Date of Completion: October 22th,
2018 (300 Calendar Days from Start Date)
• Working Hours: 7:00am – 6:00pm
Monday Through Friday, possibly Saturday.

The public is encouraged to note to any upcoming
closures by paying attention to variable message
signs, local news, radio, and newspaper. In
addition, contrafl ow lanes will be provided during
construction time, no detour patterns (Ali’inui
Drive is the only main road to drive in and out).
Motorists will need to drive with extra caution as
some stages of the project require the shutdown
of the lanes of Ali’inui Drive.
