Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve Rockfall

Public Notice
Effective January 15th, 2018 the City and
County of Honolulu will begin rock slope
stabilization work at the Hanauma Bay Nature
Preserve. Work includes rock slope scaling
& demolition, localized netting, rock anchors,
and shotcrete. Work hours will be Monday
to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Tuesday
work hours may extend to 6:00 PM. Also
there will be helicopter activity over the area
on each Tuesday starting on January 23rd,
2018. Project is scheduled to be completed by
April 15th, 2018.
