She attended Scared Hearts Elementary, Nanaikapono Middle School in Nanakuli, and graduated class of 1960 from Waianae High School. She married Anthony Aila, Sr. April 29, 1961. Marguerite enjoyed bowling, dancing, lei making, cooking and enjoyment with her Ohana. She is predeceased by her daughter, Andronette O. Aila, brother, David McShane, and sister, Eugenia Matthews. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Anthony K. Aila, Sr.; children, Antoinette K. Aila, Anthony K. Aila, Jr., Esther K. Aila; grand- children, Antoilana O. "Ming" Aila, Wailana A. Diaz, Alysha M. Aila, Melanie O. Aila, Andronette O. Aila, Dustin Basconis, Chantel Basconis, Dacia Basconis, Chaze Basconis, Jr., and Cody Basconis; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Darwynne P. "Moki" (Rayvane) Matthews, Edward K. "Makaio" (Cherie) Matthews, Edmond (Zelda) McShane; sisters, Alice A. (Douglas) Correia, Chalene Awo, Marlene McShane; many nieces & nephews; grandnieces & nephews; great- grandnieces & nephews. Celebration of Life to be held at Waianae Sacred Hearts Church on June 30, 2018. Visitation 9:00 to 10:00 am. Mass 10:00 to 11:00 am. Shared meal 11:00 to 2:00 pm.
