CHARLES AMELL

Charles R. Amell, 94 of Honolulu, retired Federal Fire Fighter, Army veteran and Aviation Mechanic at Ford Island passed away on May 17, 2018 peacefully in his sleep. Born on May 3, 1924 in Honolulu and raised in Palolo Valley, the son of Francisco and Emerejilda Amell. Charles was predeceased by his lovely wife of 64 years Lurline Amell, and his eight siblings. Survivors include son Robert (Bonnie), and daughter Charlene Amell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday June 7th 2018 at St. Patrick Church,. Viewing: 9:00 a.m.; Mass: 10:15 a.m.; Burial: at 2:00 p.m. at Diamond Head Cemetery.
