Born in Honolulu, survived by beloved wife Vanda; daughters; Vanessa (Desmond) Paracuelles, Valanda, Valeria (Daren) Vidad; son, Virgil (Janice), Predeceased by son, Vale (Shirley) Jr.; sisters; Lucia Abero and Nina Cablayan; brothers; Kata (Janet) and Francis; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his trusted dog Mochi; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
