YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Plaintiff DOLE FOOD COMPANY, INC. ("Plaintiff") has filed a First Amended Complaint against you in Civil No. 16-1-1415-07 GWBC, in the Circuit Court of the First Circuit of the State of Hawaii, wherein the Plaintiff therein prays, among other things, for a determination that Plaintiff has clear title to that certain parcel of land (being portion(s) of the land(s) described in and covered by Royal Patent Grant Number 1336 to KUOHA and HAIKU, including a portion of old abandoned road right-of-way through said Royal Patent Grant Number 1336 and Land Patent Grant Number 8593 to Henry Waterhouse Trust Company, Limited, Trustee under the Will and of the Estate of Henry Wharton, deceased) situate, lying and being at Kemoo, District of Waialua, City and County of Honolulu, State of Hawaii, and bearing Tax Key designation (1) 6-5-001-014, and containing an area of 50.130 acres, more or less, together with attorneys’ fees, costs and for other proper relief.
YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to be and appear in the courtroom of the Honorable Gary W. B. Chang, Judge of the above-entitled Court, in his courtroom located at 777 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 on the 20th day of March, 2018, at 9 o’clock a.m., or to file an answer or other pleading and serve it before said day upon Plaintiff’s attorney, Schlack Ito, a Limited Liability Law Company, whose address is 745 Fort Street, Suite 1500, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the First Amended Complaint.
