CURTIS KALANI CIDADE Curtis Kalani Cidade, 55, born August 11, 1970, passed away on March 28, 2026. Curt held multiple roles of service throughout his life, with his final position as the beloved security officer at the Hawai’i School for the Deaf and Blind, where he was known for his protective and warm heart. He is survived by his wife, Shonnia; sons, Bronsen (Tawnie) and Brent (Hillary); brothers, Cory, Chad (KoriAnn), Clinton, and Vaughn (Renee); sisters, Colleen and Nikki; grandsons, Dominic and Reef; granddaughter, Riley-as well as many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Kokololio Beach Park. Casual beach attire is welcome– feel free to wear blue, as it was Curt’s favorite color–with lunch to follow.
