Dorothy Toshiko Leasure peacefully passed away at the age of 99 on March 17, 2025 with love ones by her side. Born on July 18, 1925, in Captain Cook, Hawaii, Dorothy was the last surviving of seven children of Yukichi Kishi and Nobuko Sakurada. Dorothy’s strong Christian faith and love for her family guided her life of kindness and devotion. She found joy in music especially playing the piano and harmonica and will be remembered for her sweet spirit and radiant smile. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell "Butch O’hara" Miles Leasure. She is survived by her sons Jonathan Leasure and Steven Leasure (Mylene); daughters Joanna Groark (Murray), Susanna Leasure, and Caroline Hoffman (Douglas); 10 grandchildren: Johnny (EdAn), Karina (Sunny), Leon (deceased), Michael (Jessica), Jordan (Nancy), Gianna, David, Kim, Kaili, Noah, and Matthew; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great- grandchildren. Services will be held on Tues, July 1, 2025, at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel. Visitation: 10:00 AM, Service: 11:00 AM, Burial: 12:00 PM. All are invited to a luncheon at 12:30 PM.
