LAURA YUMI KIM-NUGENT

Laura Yumi Kim, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunty, and friend to many passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on March 22, 1967 in Warrensburg, Missouri, and raised in Southern California, Laura eventually made her home in Kaneohe, Hawaii. She was known for her vibrant personality, adventurous spirit, and the deep love she had for her children and family.

Laura is survived by her husband, Mark Nugent; her loving sons Kyle Nugent (fiancé Debbie Kwon) and Brenden Nugent; and her siblings Richard Kim and Michelle Kim.

Laura will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private family service will be held to honor her memory.
