CHERYL LYNN URASHIMA 12/02/1955 – 03/24/2022 Cheryl Lynn Kiyoko Urashima was born in Aiea, Oahu, Hawai’i. She lived in Kailua, Oahu, as the third child of Jean Aiko Omachi and Henry Hideki Urashima. Graduated from St. Anthony’s School. Graduated from St. Francis High School. Worked at Enchanted Lake Pharmacy off and on with her father. She graduated from The University of Hawai’i, Shidler College of Business, with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), 1980. She graduated from Yale University School of Management, with a Master’s Degree in Public and Private Management (MPPM), 1980-1982. She worked for the State Capitol of Hawai’i as a computer programmer. She worked as an Independent International Affairs Professional for Save the Children International, Washington DC. Save the Children International, Indonesia. Pact, Thailand. Pact, Cambodia. Khana, Cambodia. The Ministry of Woman’s Affairs, Cambodia. Retired in Cambodia. Died, aged 66, peacefully amongst friends and family in Seattle, WA. Survived by sister Lisa Marie Coakley, bother’s Craig Urashima and Keith Urashima, son Aidan Urashima. Mother, sister, a strong independent person, beloved and respected. |
