JOSEFINA B. ARUCAN Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great- grandmother, and friend, Josefina B. Arucan, of Honolulu, HI was peacefully called to her eternal home on February 10, 2025 at the incredible age of 105 years old. Nana, as she was affectionately known, was born on November 4, 1919 in Tanap Burgos, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. In 1978, Nana and her late husband, Jose Arucan, immigrated to Hawaii. They were married for 40 years and shared 10 amazing children together. Nana lived a beautiful, meaningful life filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. May Nana’s resilient spirit continue to inspire and uplift us to live life with humility, love, and an unwavering faith. Nana is survived by her 6 children, 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, & 11 great- great-grandchildren. A Wake service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Valley of the Temples (Mauka Chapel) in Kaneohe, HI. Burial services will follow on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Valley of the Temples (Mauka Chapel) in Kaneohe.
