RICHARD JOSEPH PERREIRA We sadly announce the passing of Richard Joseph Perreira, 85, on January 26, 2025. He was born on October 9, 1939 in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up in Punchbowl. Richard retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard after over 50 years of service. Majority of those years were spent working in Shop 51. He enjoyed fishing, photography, playing ukulele and guitar. He had a witty sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He was predeceased by brother Mitchell Perreira and sister Doreen Demello (Dennis). He is dearly missed by daughters, Gina Fukunaga and Lola Nua (Michael) and sons Shane Perreira (Marilou) and Troy Perreira, Grandchildren Noah Fukunaga, Temari Malone (Thomas), Elijah Nua and Mailah Nua, and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Sisters Carol Apana (Eugene), Ernestine Miller (Kenneth) and Lori Perreira (Roberta), and nieces & nephews. Private services will be held. Rest in love dad. We love you.
