CHISATO "CHIC" MAEBO HOLCK Was born on August 10, 1928, to Toshito and Koto Maebo, the 6th of 8 children, and was adopted by her Uncle Mamoru and Aunt Shizuko Maebo. She was raised in Papaikou, Hawaii and was a proud graduate of Hilo High School, class of 1946. Chic graduated with a certificate in Accounting from the Progressive College of Commerce. She worked for the Federal Government from 1947-1952 and in December of 1952, married Wilbert S. Holck. 32 years later, after raising 6 children, Chic went back to work in 1984 at the Marine Corps Air Station in Kaneohe, the Joint Public Affairs Office. She retired in 2001, after more than 20 years with the Federal Government. She enjoyed many years of cooking, traveling, watching and yelling "Go Bows" at UH Volleyball on TV, and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her 6 children, Sandra (Leonard) Souza, Susan (Clifton) Harada, Wilbert (Terry) Holck Jr, Mary Ann (Eric) Nemoto, Danna Holck, Willard (Geralyn) Holck, 11 grandchildren, Jason and Alana Souza, Brandon (Christy) Arakaki, Cole Arakaki, Nikki (Jonathan) Holck, Tyler (Carlos) Holck, William Holck, Ashley (Afa) Cobb-Adams, Seth Holck and 9 great-grandchildren.
