ROBERT C. LEE Dr. Robert C. Lee, husband, father, grandfather, ophthalmologist and food aficionado passed away peacefully in Honolulu on July 25 at the age of 93. Following in the footsteps of his father, Robert H. Lee, Robert became an ophthalmologist, served as a captain in the US Army in Munich and raised his family in Honolulu. "Bob Lee" as he was known to his friends, will best be remembered for his love of talking story with his patients while conducting retinoscopic refractions and his savoring of great food with good friends. He will be especially missed by his wife, Bertie; children, Stacy (Esther), Brent (Scott), Robbie, Kazuhiko Yoshida; four grand- children, Alex, Sydney, Mattias and Callum; nieces, Aung Thaitae (John Demello), Susan Yates (Michael) and nephew Todd Leong (Viya). He is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Leong.
