KRIS KEIKO KAWAMOTO Kris Keiko Kawamoto, 58, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2021 in her Aiea home. She is survived by mother Jane Kawamoto, brother Ken Kawamoto, and niece Kimberly Poepoe. Kris spent her childhood gallivanting around Waipahu, and graduated from Waipahu High School ’81. She was a self proclaimed workaholic and devoted 35+ years to the Federal Gov’t starting at Hon Fed and most recently as a Logistics Support Representative for NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor, while simultaneously maintaining her position in Sales Audit at Costco Wholesale which she served for 30 years. A true epitome of "work hard, play hard" her free time was spent traveling, dog-sitting her BFF, and dabbling in all sorts of hobbies which include but are not limited to skiing, crafting, collecting all things "kawaii," and was a fanatical Korean Drama fan. Her favorite pastime of all may have been shopping, which brought her much joy to bestow gifts upon others with her truly generous spirit and kind heartedness. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, soul mate and friend. Her sweet smile and infectious laughter will truly be missed. Private services were held.
