HAROLENE MAPUANA “MAPU” JOHNSTON CONWAY

85, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2019. Born in Honolulu. Mapu was a longtime Kailua resident, and recently moved to Waimanalo. A Kamehameha Schools class of ’52 alumna. Former member and secretary of the Hawaiian Girls Golf Club. She is survived by her lifetime companion, James AhTuck. Daughters; Dayna (Butch) Hue Sing, and Sloane “Puddi” Conway. Sons; Sean (Kathy), and Beau (Darralynn) Conway. 14 grandchildren, and 7 great- grandchildren. Brothers; Rainold and Harold Johnston. Her love and presence in all our lives will be deeply missed. Join us in Celebrating Mapu’s life on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at St. Anthony’s Church in Kailua. Visitation will begin at 9 am, and prayer service at 10am.
