GRACE SADAKO SETTSU 93 of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on May 30, 2026. She was born on March 11, 1933, in Honolulu to parents Yutaka and Hideko Nakaeda, both born in Hiroshima. She graduated from Roosevelt High School, then went on to attend the University of Hawaii, then graduated from the University Minnesota in Minneapolis with a degree in Education. She worked many years at Pearl Harbor Elementary School. She is survived by husband Richard Settsu, 3 sons, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, and 1 sister. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm followed by service at 6:00pm. No Koden (Envelopes)Please.
