LEILIA LILI MAHDJUB-HUGHES passed away on June 14, 2026, in Honolulu. She was born on January 31, 1948, in Tehran, Iran. In 1969, she became the first Iranian flight attendant for Pan Am and later worked for United Airlines. Leila is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Hughes. She will be remembered as a loving grandmother, mother, wife, sister, and friend. She is survived by her children, Sebastian (Stefanie) Hughes and Isabella (Harrison) Hughes; her brothers, Ramin and Kamran; her sister, Ramona; and her grandchildren, Koa, Roya, William, Thomas, and Nathan. A private celebration of life will take place on July 2nd in Honolulu for close friends and family.
