ROSALIE SYLVIA PACHECO SMITH

Rosalie Sylvia Smith was born in Hilo, Hawaii on February 28, 1938 and was the daughter of Antonio and Rosaline Silva Pacheco. She passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2026. She graduated from Hilo High School in 1956 then attended Monterey Peninsula College and majored in Sports Medicine. She was employed by Bekins Moving and Storage for 27 years and was also the Librarian for 15 years at St. Ann School in Kaneohe and there after retired in 2009.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her 3 sons Dwayne 2001, Lawrence 2006, Paul 2010 and brother Anthony Alfred Pacheco 2018. Rosalie is survived by her loving husband Danny for 58 years in Kaneohe, sister Claire Rosaline Pare who resides in Stewartsville, New Jersey, adopted daughter Gina Meleisea and 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at St. Ann Church located at 46-129 Haiku Road, Kaneohe. It will be on Friday, June 26, 2026. Visitation at 10:00 am and services at 11:00 am.
