ROWLAND YOSHIYUKI NISHIJO Beloved Papa Rowland, as he was known to most, peacefully passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 87, surrounded by his loved ones. He will be deeply missed for his calming presence, generous heart, and unwavering dedication for those he loved. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Nishijo; son, Travis (Barbara) Nishijo; daughters, Dorian (Jeffrey) Kim, Shari (Blake) Moniz, and Nicole Nishijo; grand- children, Taryn (Joshua), Shayna (Daniel), Kody, McKenzie, Kaleb, Logan, and Kyrie; great-grandchild, Jayston; and siblings, Shirley Miyahira, Theodore Nishijo, and Kathryn Smith. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
