JACOB ROY HOOPAI 76, of Honolulu, a retired special motivation teacher for McKinley High School, passed away on March 27, 2025 at Hale Nani Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife, Diana; children, Jason Hermann, Jennifer Hermann, Teana (Aaron) Peneyra and Jacob Hoopai, Jr.; sisters, April (Kenny) Chow and Ua Hoopai; brother, Jacob Inoa Hoopai; and three grandchildren. Visitation at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Service begins at 11 a.m.
