HELEN TOM YEE

Helen, 101, born January 10, 1924 in Honolulu passed peacefully at home on April 2, 2025. Helen was an accountant for McCabe, Hamilton and Renny Co. and Hawaii Meat Packing Packing Company.

Helen graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy where she met Robert Yee who attended St. Louis School. They were married for 66 years. Together, Helen’s accounting skills and Robert’s real estate business savvy made for a prosperous partnership. Helen also led her sisters in developing a successful apartment complex on Akepo Lane. They traveled the world and made many life-long friends here and abroad.

Helen is survived by 5 children: Bernadette (Peter) Gaskell, Brian, Soozee, Randal (Amy), and Claudia; 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Tracy), Robby (Dana) Russell (Karelle), Tony, Kelly, Michael, and Marcus: and 7 great-grandchildren: Morgan, Remy, Bayley, Wylie, Gray, Everett, and Dylan.

Services will be held 11:00am April 22, 20205 at Star of the Sea Church, 4469 Malia St., Honolulu, HI 96821. Visitation at 10:00am. Burial to follow at 1:00pm Lin Yee Chung (Manoa Chinese) Cemetery. Aloha attire.
