DOROTHY HARADA

Dorothy "Dot" Harada passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 at the age of 81 at Pali Momi Medical Center. She is survived by husband, Ed, sons, Kelly and Chad (Ai), daughters, Tammy Lynn (Todd) Horita, and Terry Lee (Darrin) Goya, 6 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandson. She is also survived by brothers, Melvin and Karl Miyashiro and sister, Sandra Perreira.

Dot was born in Honolulu and graduated from Farrington High School in 1961. She met her husband, also a Farrington graduate, in Los Angeles and they married in Las Vegas in 1963. She was a great prayer warrior and her daily prayers included her family, friends, and national and international victims. Her entire life was all about her love for Jesus and she shared with everyone the importance of trusting God in all circumstances. Although blind, she cared and helped everyone regardless of their nationality. The family requests no koden. Private services held.
