92, of Kailua, passed away on May 13, 2024 in Kailua, Hawaii. He was born on December 28, 1931. Timothy was known for his kind and happy demeanor, always sharing his great sense of humor. An avid golfer, he found joy with his many friends on Oahu golf courses. In his career, Timothy excelled in management at Prestressed Concrete in Halawa, Hawaii. He dedicated himself to his work for decades. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbye Jean Smythe and is survived by his loving children Deborah Aiu, Elissa Hollenbeck, Timothy Smythe Jr, and Ilima Furey and their spouses Daniel Aiu, Craig Hollenbeck, and Kimberly Smythe, and Kevin Furey. Timothy will also be missed by his grandchildren: Daniel Aiu Jr, Melissa Eckard-Aiu, Stephanie Camerrer, Jason Hollenbeck, Grady Hollenbeck, Alison Hollinz, Ian Smythe, Carli Smythe, Colby Smythe, Andrew Aiu, Stuart Aiu, and Robin Aiu. Timothy also leaves behind 20 great grandchildren. Timothy was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School. A celebration of life is planned to honor Timothy at 429 Iana St., Kailua 96734 on February 12, 2025 at 4pm |
