GERALDINE "GERRE" JANETTE SCOTT Our beloved mother, Geraldine "Gerre" Janette Scott (nee Burke), passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. After marrying her late husband, Charles "Bud" Scott in 1952, together, they moved from Washington state to Hawaii. They were both long time educators and Gerre, a University of Hawaii graduate and a Hawaii teacher’s certificate holder, worked in the Hawaii public school system for many years including stints in Honolulu, Laupahoehoe, and Hilo. She is survived by her children, sons Kelly (Roshani), Kyle (Roxana), daughter Carolyn (James), and five grandchildren. Services to be held at a later date.
