SUMMONS

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that ALEN MATSUO KAIONE KANESHIRO, Plaintiff, has filed a Complaint against you in 1CCV-23-0001106, wherein Plaintiff Kaneshiro seeks a declaratory judgment that the Warranty Deed, recorded August 19, 1991 in the Bureau of Conveyances, State of Hawaii, as Doc. No. 91-115119, from James Edgar Drorbaugh and May Field Manny Drorbaugh, as Co-Trustees of their respective trusts, as Grantor, to James Edgar Drorbaugh and May Field Manny Drorbaugh, individually, as Grantee, conveying the real property located at 44-315 Kaneohe Bay Drive, Kaneohe, Hawaii, 96744, identified as Tax Map Key No. (1) 4-4-007-038, which is also identified as Lot 8 of the Kaneohe Bay Vista Cluster Subdivision, comprising 15,330 square feet of land, and more particularly described in said Warranty Deed (hereinafter, “Lot 8”), is corrected and reformed nunc pro tunc to correctly add, reflect, and effectuate as intended by the parties, the conveyance of Marla Ann Oredson, Dan Milo Oredson, Rhonda Campbell Metcalf, Thomas Ray Metcalf, Fredda Anne Stroup, and Michael Maynard Stroup’s interest in Lot 8, as grantors, to the Drorbaughs, as grantees, which interest has since been conveyed to and is owned by Plaintiff Kaneshiro. Alternatively, the Complaint seeks a declaratory judgment that Plaintiff Kaneshiro is the lawful owner of Defendants’ partial interest in Lot 8 by virtue of adverse possession.
YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to appear in the courtroom of the Honorable Gary W.B. Chang, at
777 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 on June 18, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., or to file an answer or other pleading and serve it before said day upon Plaintiff’s counsel, Koshiba & Price, 707 Richards Street, Suite 610, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
