YAEKO KUBOTA Yaeko Kubota of Manoa, age 98, died at home on June 8, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1924, in Honolulu to Toshio and Kikue Kondo. Yaeko was a graduate of McKinley High School, class of 1942. She married Arthur Kubota on June 23, 1951. Together, they had two children. Yaeko was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; brother, Franklin Kondo; and son-in-law, Lester Morihara. She is survived by her daughter, Christina "Tina" Morihara; son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Lynn; grandson, Nathan; grandson and grand- daughter-in-law, David and Courtney; great-granddaughters, Adalae, Elliana, and Alina; sister- in-law, Florence Kondo; and caregiver, Misaki Kawamura. Private services. The family requests no kouden.
