CAROLYN ANN LEINAALA KAMAUNU HAWPE On May 12, 2023, Carolyn Ann Leinaala Kamaunu Hawpe, 54, of Kailua, O’ahu, passed into eternal life. Survived by her three children, Jessica Lynn Hawpe, Sophie Ann Hawpe, and Aaron Joseph Hawpe; father Alden H.K. Kamaunu I; brother Alden (Patricia) H.K. Kamaunu II of Las Vegas, NV; grandson Sonny & many loving family & friends. Born November 9, 1968, in Kailua, HI, Carolyn loved playing soccer, cheerleading, and dancing hula in her youth, becoming lead dancer for her halau at Kalaheo. Very sociable and outgoing, she thrived in her various occupations in the travel and service industries.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 22, 2023, at St. John Vianney Church, Kailua. Public visitation at 9:45. Funeral service begins at 10:30. Prayer service at 11:00. |
