HIDEYOSHI TAKASAWA 74, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023. He was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan and later moved to Hawai’i. Hideyoshi was President of the international trading company, Pacific HI-TAK and Japanese specialty grocery store and izakaya, J-Shop. More significant than his professional accomplishments was the way he extended himself to help others. To those who knew him, Hideyoshi is remembered as a man of great integrity, generosity, and resiliency. He is survived by his wife, Susan, daughter Kelly (Erik) Takasawa Betwee, and two grandchildren, Autumn and Taj; brother Susumu (Sachiko) and sister, Yoshie (Yoshikatsu) Someya, and nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 4:00pm; Services at 5:00pm. Reception to follow.
