LYNN KEIKO IKEHARA Lynn was born on January 1st, 1956 to James and Shizue Kawashima. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1974 and held various positions within the City and County of Honolulu, until her retirement in 2011 to be a full time grandmother. She passed away at home on April 26th, 2023. Her survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ikehara; son Jason (Shari) Ikehara; daughter Jodi (Keenan) Ikehara Lum; and grandchildren Jaylen, Shaylen, and Kenna. Also brothers, Jim "Butch" (Karen) Kawashima, Ron (Gail) Kawashima; and sisters Sandy Nakamura and Suzan (Darrell) Kaninau. Finally, many nieces and nephews and a close-knit extended Araki family. A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Friday, July 14th, 2023. Visitation starts at 5 pm with a program to follow at 6 pm. The family appreciates your expressions of love, but requests no floral offerings. The mortuary requires wearing of face masks during the service.
