ROY "KOBA" KIYOSHI KOBASHIGAWA Of Pearl City, passed away at home on April 28, 2023 at the age of 72. Born the 3rd child of the late Yoneko and Seijin Kobashigawa in Honolulu, Roy graduated from McKinley High School class of ’69. He went on to work at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a pipefitter and retired in 2018. Roy enjoyed traveling with the family, especially to Las Vegas. He was a lifelong UH Football Fan and spent his retired years spoiling his grandkids. He is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Dana; sons Reid (Cori) and Ty (Abigail); sisters Mitsuye (Francis) and Kiyomi Nancy (Glenn); grandchildren Kenzo, Ally, and Koji. Private services were held at Nu’uanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.
