HOWARD KAZUYOSHI INOUYE 83, passed away at home in Honolulu on April 10, 2023. Founder and President of Precast, Incorporated, HEP Corp and Holadero Corp. Born in Waimea, Kauai, he was a Boy Scout with Waimea Explorer Post 61. He was trained in many water safety and life saving courses and received a American Red Cross "Certificate of Merit" signed by President Dwight Eisenhower at age 14 for providing life saving skills to a drowning 3 year old boy at Waimea pier. He was a proud graduate of Waimea High School class of 1958. After moving to Honolulu, he owned multiple enterprises and was a true entrepreneur in business. From owning a bar in Chinatown to buying a farm in Palolo, he accomplished many things with his supportive and equally hard working wife Laura, by his side. Preceded in death by his wife, Laura Inouye. He is survived by his daughters, Roxann, Deann, Irene, Pamela, and Deborah. 6 grandchildren and great-grand- children. Sisters, Vivian and Gail and brother Herman. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary, service of celebration at 4:00 p.m. Mask required.
