MICHAEL DALE "MAC" MCFARLAND 80, of Wahiawa passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2023, from an aggressive form of Leukemia, with his family by his side. He was born in Galesburg, IL. Mac retired from the Honolulu Police Dept in 2000 as a Sergeant after 30+ years of service. In his free time Mac enjoyed riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, playing pool, watching boxing and motorcycle races, and spending time with his family and friends. Mac was also an avid reader and enjoyed doing the morning crossword daily. Mac is survived by his wife Tina, his children Vina (Royden) Yamada, Derrick (Christina) Tokumoto, Michael Jr., Lisa (Dino) Maldonado, and Timothy (Michelle) Yee, 16 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great- great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mac lived a long and happy life and leaves his family many loving memories to cherish. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Mac requested no services. His family will hold a private scattering in July.
