ROSE WEHR Rose Wehr would have turned 100 today. She passed away on April 4th, 2023 just 2 months short of her birthday. Rose was a beloved mother and wife who did everything for her family. She was born and raised in Punchbowl and had 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and worked for the federal government. She married Allen Wehr in 1951and they had a wonderful life together for 65 years until he died. They had 3 children. Upon retirement Rose became an avid walker and she would take early morning strolls in the Diamond Head area where she lived the last 50 plus years. She traveled until she was 97 years old. Rose is survived by her son Wayne Wehr, her daughters Wanda Wehr and Wendy Petersen, her son in law Pete Petersen, her grandson Billy Glisson and his wife Dudley. She also had 3 great-grandchildren Wehr, Carlton and Lanier Glisson and her dog Lily. Private services
