ALBERT KIM Albert Kim Fat Lau, cherished father, dedicated husband, and avid tennis player, passed away at the age of 95. Born and raised in Honolulu, Al joined the Air Force and was the first person in his family to graduate from college. He started out at Foremost, worked as a lab technician, and retired as a small business motel owner in California. His love of fishing, tennis and ping pong brought immense joy to Al’s life. His skills and dedication served as an inspiration, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to play alongside him. Al and his wife Sue spent some of their happiest times dancing or singing and playing the ukulele together. Their travels took them abroad to China, Japan and Europe while family trips to Tahoe were an annual pilgrimage. He is survived by his three children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed. Services: 11:00am at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, June 15th. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Hawaii Food Bank. |
