MICHAEL "MIKE" YASUHIKO NAKAHARA Michael "Mike" Yasuhiko Nakahara passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 79. Born and raised in Waipahu, Hawaii, Mike attended Mid Pacific Institute, Waipahu High School and San Jose State University. He worked from a young age delivering newspapers and then at a gas station during high school. He also sold Cutco knives to support himself through college. After graduation, he worked at Telecheck and Honolulu Business College and eventually started RAM corporation and Allied Builders System. He enjoyed golfing with friends at Oahu Country Club and Waialae Country Club and belonged to many different golf groups. He also enjoyed traveling, watching boxing, golf and UH sports on TV, singing Frank Sinatra songs on karaoke, spending time with his koi fish, eating good Japanese food and simple local foods, and he loved being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Andree, his daughter Lisa (Darin), and his two grandchildren, Cameron and Morgan. Private services were held.
