LUISA TERESITA TORRES TEXEIRA, "TESS" Luisa Teresita Torres "Tess" Texeira passed on to eternal life with the Lord on May 9, 2023 at home in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. She was born in San Juan, Ternate, Cavite, the Philippines on December 13, 1950. She immigrated to the United States in 1974 and made Hawaii her home. She worked many years for Schuman Automotive then RFG in Ewa Beach. She was a very active parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help where she served in several ministries but mostly poured her heart out to Social Ministry and Aloha Fellowship. She was predeceased by husband Stanley Texeira and parents Celedonio and Eusebia Torres. She was survived by brothers Fidel Torres, Sr. and Conrado Torres; sisters Flordeliza Torres and Julia Torres; nephews Julius Torres, Fidel Torres, Jr., James Michael Torres, and John Christian Torres; and niece Giselle Marie Torres. Funeral services will be held on June 23, 2023, Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Ewa Beach. Visitation at 10:00 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m., and burial at 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
