August 27, 1937 – February 17, 2023 Rose Kilani Kim Hing (Pang) Sagon passed away on February 17, 2023 at Kaiser Moanalua Hospital. She was 85. She was born on August 27, 1937 to Richard and Hannah Pang of Wailuku, Maui. She was the eldest of the family and had four sisters and one brother – Hannah (Robert) Idemoto, Elizabeth (David-deceased) Flores, Lillian (Joseph-deceased) Pagan, Richard H.S. Pang (deceased; Josephine) and Bertha (Richard) Drayson. She married the love of her life, Adam Sagon Sr. (deceased) on November 30, 1957 and had three sons – Adam Jr. (Anita), Alan (Mindy) and Aran (Michelle-deceased). She also had 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Rose graduated from H.P Baldwin High School in 1955. She retired from United Airlines at age 64.
An Oahu Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary. Flowers may be delivered to the Mauka Chapel. A private viewing will be held at 8:30 a.m., followed by a public viewing at 9:00 am. A service will be held |
