ROBERT GORO UEMURA Age 99, of Kualapuu, Molokai, HI, passed away at home on February 21, 2023. Born August 16, 1923 in Waialua, HI. US Army WWII veteran of the 442nd RCT, Headquarters Company. Survived by wife, Pearl M. Uemura, sons Alan, Carl, and Tracy. Memorial service at Grace Episcopal Church in Hoolehua, Molokai, June 17 at 2:00 pm. Army honor guard and inurnment at Punchbowl Cemetery of the Pacific, in Honolulu, June 22 at 2:00 pm. Casual attire, no flowers please.
