After Ewa/Oahu Sugar Plantation closed, he was also employed at Pioneer Mill in Maui and Lihue and Kekaha Sugar Plantations on Kauai. His last employment was with SOH Department of Transportation – airport division, and he would often say they are paying him to exercise.
