GERALDINE ”GERRY” MENDEZ

Age 78, passed away suddenly on April 18, 2023, in Honolulu. Born September 26, 1944 in Honolulu to Robert and Rose (Chung) Ha, attended McKinley High School, and worked at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. An avid line dancer, she danced at Palama, Momilani, Windward Mall, Palladium, Blazing Saddles and more. Gerry was a proud, and loving grandmother to her four grandchildren and great-grandson.
Survived by daughters Stacie Mendoza and Cheryl Mendez; four grandchildren; one great grandson; siblings Randy Ha, Didi Baba, and former spouse Raymond A. Mendez. Preceded in death by sons Raymond and Clayton Mendez.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023,
at Oahu Cemetery Chapel. Visitation 3:00 p.m.
Service and light dinner to follow. No flowers, please.
