Judy was born in Wash., D.C., daughter of Muriel Hibbs Pulis and Gordon Pulis. She passed away peacefully after suffering a heart attack several weeks before. She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years Larry V. LeDoux, sister Joanne Farmer of Kailua, brother Gordon Pulis of Conn. Judy’s younger years were spent on Long Island, N.Y., where she attended Hicksville HS and Nassau College. She came to Hawaii as a tourist and soon decided to continue college at UH, where she met her future husband Larry. They became involved in local theater, married in 1970, and lived in Kahaluu for over 40 years. During that time, Judy raised and sold exotic birds by the hundreds. She was also a prolific poet and seamstress, plus a long time volunteer at Kaneohe library. She suffered a stroke in 2010 and was then cared for by 3 devoted caregivers Anna Maugeri, Kyle Moore, and more recently Janet Spivey.
Her family is most grateful for their dedicated service, loyalty and Aloha. Judy has been cremated, no services are planned. A Hui Ho until we meet again dearest Judy.
