Funeral Notices


Born Aug. 8, 1932 in Buck Toy Village in Chung Shan, China. Chung Marn passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 31, 2022, surrounded by his family.

He was a chef and restaurant owner. He opened Kalihi Chop Suey and C&M Lunch Wagon, near the airport. People came from all over the island for his good food. He retired in 1991 and enjoyed cooking for his 7 grandchildren and family.

He is survived by his wife May Yuk, children Amy (Arthur) Fujioka, Linda (Ryan) Luke and Raymond (Blythe) Ng. Seven grandchildren: Nicholas, Macy, Tyler, Zachary, Abigail, Alicia, and Shelby.

Services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023 at the Valley of the Temples, Main Chapel. 11:00 am Visitation, 12:00 pm Service.
