JANET S. TAMURA

85, owner of Tamura’s Market and Tamura’s Fine Wine and Liquors passed away peacefully in Pearl City, Hawaii on September 1, 2022.

She was born in Waipahu, Hawaii and worked at various jobs before retiring as a clerk typist at Waianae High School. Her vibrant smile, compassionate spirit, and friendly nature will be forever missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Glenn, Alison (Miles), and Linda (Michael); grandsons Garrett, Ty, and Sean; siblings Helen (Teruki), Hazel (Hiroto deceased), Charles (Shirley), Jane (Alvah), and Richard (Joanne). Preceded in death by husband Herbert and brother Francis.

Private services were held on December 17, 2022.
