JAMES HOSUKE KAWANO Born September 22, 1926 in Honolulu, HI, James passed away on August 4, 2022 as a retired engineer at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He is survived by daughter Gwen Richards; sons Brian and Ward; brother Stanley, and four grandsons, Brian Scott Kanehisa Kawano, James, Trevor and Zachary Richards and multiple nieces and nephews. Private family ceremony will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, Monday, Oct. 24th.
