RACHEL SADAE WATARAI Rachel Sadae Watarai, 72, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022. She was born in Honolulu, Hawai’i to Kenichi and Gladys Kurata, She is loved and will be missed by brothers Roy Kurata and Randall (Kathy) Kurata, sister Karen (Bo) Roldan, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Rachel has called Kaua’i home for the last 30 years. She worked 36 years as an educator on O’ahu and Kaua’i and retired from the Department of Education as an administrator. She loved to travel and enjoyed the excitement and adventures with good friends and family. She will be missed dearly by many. Per her request, there will be no service.
