JOHNNY H. PASTOR

Johnny became an SGI Buddhist at birth. He actively participated in the YMD (Young Men Division) and MD (Men Division) activities.
He was an Honor Graduate (4.0 GPA) from Intercoast College and was a certified Medical Assistant. His professional experiences: USC-Keck Center Medical Assistant, Kaiser Permanente Medical Reviewer, Valley Community Clinic (California)- General Medical and Laboratory, Rehab Hospital (Hawaii)- Front Desk Reception and other medical positions.
While in California, he served as part of a six member team, event planner for “Where’s My Dress Productions”, that organized annual events at Disneyland Resort for more than 30,000 attendees.
Johnny appeared in numerous productions: Tony & Tina’s Wedding- Henry Fonda Theatre, Phantom of the Opera- (Phantom), Les Miserable (Jean Valjean), A Chorus Line- American Theatre Co.- Hawaii and numerous other productions. He was an active participating member of Hawaii’s Theatre Community. His acting colleagues at Kumu Kahua, Manoa Valley Theatre, Kaimuki High School Theatre, Ohia Productions and I’m a Bright Kid Foundation, have flooded Facebook with postings proclaiming Johnny’s vigor, energy and will power.
Johnny was multitalented and versatile. He was even licensed to perform marriages in the State of Hawaii.
His enthusiasm and zest for life was remarkable. HE WILL BE MISSED.
Johnny’s private memorial service for vaccinated/masked family members and SGI Buddhist members only, will be on Saturday, October 29, 2022, 11:00am at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary- Mauka Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, 7:00pm at Kaimuki High School Theatre.
