Daisy Fujimoto passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 90 on May 14, 2022 at her home in Kaimuki. Daisy was born in Ka’u, Hawaii. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, she will forever be remembered for her care and complete devotion to her family. She is truly missed.
With her passing, Daisy joins her beloved late husband James Tomio Fujimoto, cherished sons James Kimo Fujimoto and Jon Keone Fujimoto and parents Acho and Daisy Young.
Daisy enjoyed creating artisan crafts, making and designing Hawaiian quilts and pillows, jewelry, feather hat bands, haku lei and floral arrangements. She was happy to share her expertise by teaching others these art forms at various venues. Her passion was raising honohono orchids.

Daisy’s grandchildren were her pride and joy and her legacy. Our precious Grandma Nana leaves Brant (Maiko) Yasaka, Cody (Nelly) Yasaka, Chad Fujimoto, Jonathan Fujimoto, Lance Fujimoto and Isaac Fujimoto.
